Halloween Atmosphere

Toivottavasti kaikkien halloweenit meni mukavasti. :) Minulla oli poikkeuksellisesti vaan yhdet bileet ja nekin oli jo aiemmin viikolla, joten ite halloween-viikonloppuna oli sit luvassa vaan chillailua ja fiilistelyä. Niiden ainoiden bileiden asusta en tullu ottaneeksi kuvaa, mut saatan lavastaa tilanteen uusiksi tässä jokin päivä ja postailla asukuvia sit tänne, koska siihen oli kiinnostusta. ^_^

          Tässä kumminkin pari halloween-teemaista kuvaa. Askartelin tossa taannoin elämäni ekan kranssin, jonka iskin saman tien ulko-oveeni roikkumaan. Halloween-iltana oli sit tarjolla kurpitsapiirakkaa, joka sekin muuten oli elämäni eka sellainen. Oli kyllä aika hyvää, vaikkakaan ei hirveän kuvauksellisen näköistä. :D Ehkä ois pitäny tehä vaikka jotkin hämähäkinseittikoristelut tai jotain. Siinä on päällä siis tuorejuustokuorute, siks se on vaaleeta eikä kurpitsanoranssia.

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! :) I had exceptionally just one Halloween party to attend to and it was already on Wednesday, so the Halloween weekend was just for chilling and enjoying the atmosphere. I didn't take a photo of my costume from that party, but I might dress up as the same character again soon and post some costume photos here then, since somebody was interested in seeing that. ^_^

          Here's a couple of Halloween-y photos anyway. Some time ago I made my first wreath ever and hang it on my door right away. On Halloween evening we had some pumpkin pie that was also a first one I had ever made btw. It was quite delicious, though not very picturesque. :D Maybe I should have done some spiderweb decoration or something. The frosting is cream cheese, which is why it's light-coloured instead of pumpkin orange.

The Halloween Tag

Jee, halloween-viikko! ^_^ Hukutettu nukke oli saanu tämmösen kivan halloween-haastejutskan, johon aattelin tarttuu, että tulee blogiin ees jotain sisältöö taas pitkästä aikaa. :D Teen tän nyt ihan englanniksi, kun sillä kielellä se valmiikskin oli. Ideana on siis vastata 13 kysymykseen ja tägätä 5 muuta bloggaajaa, mut en nyt jaksa haastaa ketään. Jokainen halukas toki saa tehä tän vapaasti. Postaus on kuvitettu ChrisColdin taiteella.

Yay, it's the Halloween week! ^_^ Hukutettu nukke has received this cool Halloween tag thing, and I decided to do it too, so there would be at least something in my blog after such a long time. :D I'm going to do this just in English. The tag is to answer the 13 questions and then tag 5 more bloggers, but I don't feel like tagging anybody. QUESTIONS:

1. Favorite Halloween song?

This Is Halloween, without a doubt. The second one is Every Day Is Halloween by Ministry.

2. Witch or Vampire?

Oh, I've been a huge vampire fan since forever, so I'm gonna go with that.

3. Favorite thing about Halloween?

Just everything! The atmosphere, decorations, horror, colours, pumpkins, everything!

4. Halloween party or scary movie marathon?

I really enjoy wearing costumes, so Halloween parties are always the best parties of the year.

Haunted Stones

5. Skeletons or Zombies?

That's a tough one, since I don't have very strong feelings for neither. Maybe skeletons, because they're usually so classy.

6. Favorite Halloween candy?

There isn't really any special Halloween candy in Finland, so I don't know. :< But I've always wanted to taste those cute candy corns!

7. Favorite Halloween movie?

Nightmare Before Christmas, though it's also a Christmas movie. ^_^

8. Favorite Halloween costume?

I was quite happy with my nurse costume last year, but I haven't had any actual favourites.

9. Favorite Halloween store?

There aren't any Halloween stores either in Finland. :< Halloween isn't that big deal here, which is a real  shame.

Pumpkin

10. Jack-o-lanterns, yes or no?

Yes! I haven't ever carved one myself, though, but they do look cool.

11. Bats or Black Cats?

Despite generally being a cat person, I'm gonna go with bats in this case.

12. Is Halloween your favorite holiday?

Definitely! Though I consider it more of a way of life than a holiday. :)

13. Pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate?

I haven't tried any pumpkin drinks, so I don't know. :<

Summery Outfits + CD Finds

Tässä pari kesäistä asua viime viikolta! Helteet vielä kiusasi kovasti, joten piti yrittää pukeutua mahdollisimman vilpoisasti (vaikkakin mustaan tietenkin).

Paikallisessa levyliikkeessä oli parin päivän ajan kaikki käytetyt CD:t puolella hintaa, joten siellä piti käydä tonkimassa. Ostin sit kolme käytettyy ja yhden käyttämättömän levyn.

Oon kyllä niin onnellinen, että helteistä on jo päästy. ♥ Sit odotellaan vaan syksyn tuloa. (Vielä tuntuu aika kesäiseltä.)

Here's a couple of summery outfits from last week! It was quite hot, so it was necessary to try to dress as cool as possible (although in black, of course).

In the local record store, the used CDs were on sale for 50 % off  for two days, so I had to go and dig there. I ended up buying three used and one unused CDs.

I'm so happy the heat wave is over. ♥ Now I'm just waiting for the autumn. (It still feels like summer.)
