Still Alive

Jep, oon edelleen hengissä, vaikkei siltä ehkä blogin perusteella aina vaikutakaan. :D Gradu ja muut stressaavat asiat vie aikaa ja voimia, eikä elämässä hirveesti muuta tällä hetkellä tapahdukaan, joten hiljaiselo on aika lailla looginen seuraus. Mut yritän aina sillon tällön käydä näyttäytymässä täälläkin.

Tänään kävin hoitelemassa kaikkia tympeitä paperiasioita. Aattelin, että kukkamekko vois olla piristävä valinta moisiin askareisiin.

Tukka alkaa kyllä taas tympiä, sekä pituuden että etutukattomuuden osalta. Oon kasvatellu tota etutukkaa nyt jokusen tovin, eikä etuhaituvat vieläkään yllä korvien taakse. Haluisin leikkauttaa reilusti pituutta joka puolelta. Ehkä alotan siitä etutukasta, se virkistää ilmettä varmasti jo huomattavasti.

Pikkuisia kukkasia! Yleensä en oo mikään kukkakuosien suuri ystävä, mut tää kirpparilta aikoinaan bongattu mekko on ihan kiva kesävaate. Se päällä on hyvä istua sisällä tietokoneen näytön ääressä naputtelemassa gradua. :p No, onneks en oo mikään ulkoilmaihminen muutenkaan, etenkään kesäaikaan.

Yup, I'm still alive, though it may not always seem like it while looking at my blog. :D I've been busy with writing my master thesis and with all kinds of other stressful stuff, and there isn't much else going on in my life right now, so there isn't much going on in my blog either. But I try to show my face around here every now and then.

Today I had to take care of some dull paper work. I thought that a flower dress could be a cheery choice of clothing for such tasks.

Also my hair is starting to be dull. I'm getting irritated by both the length and the bangslessness. I've been letting my bangs grow for some time now, and still the hair in front isn't long enough to be tucked behind ears. I'd like to have my hair cut way shorter. Maybe I'll start with the bangs, it'll surely refresh the look considerably.

Little flowers! Usually I'm not a big fan of flower pattern, but that second hand dress is a nice summer wear. It's great for sitting indoors in front of a computer screen writing your master thesis. :p Well, luckily I'm not a real fan of the outdoors either, especially in summer time.

Midsummer-y

Oho, edellisestä postauksesta onkin kulunut jo melkein kuukausi. Ehkä on siis ihan paikallaan näyttää, että oon vielä hengissä! Miun päivät menee nykyään pitkälti gradun (+ videopelien ja tv-sarjojen, tällä hetkellä etenkin Orange is the New Blackin) parissa, mut nyt oon juhannuksen kunniaksi viettäny pari vapaapäivää. Juhannusaattoa juhlistin ystäväni luona, jossa luvassa oli mm. tortilloita, animaatioleffa ja Super Nintendoa, jeij. Löysin Ebaystä kivan (ja halvan) kukkapääkallotopin, joka tuntui sopivan keskikesän juhlaan kuin nakutettu.

Oops, it's been almost a month since my last post. So maybe it's time to show I'm still alive! Nowadays, I spend my days mostly amongst my Master's thesis (+ video games and TV series, at the moment espeially Orange is the New Black), but since it's Midsummer here in Finland, I've been having a couple of days off from school work yesterday and today. Yesterday I celebrated the Midsummer's Eve with a friend of mine at her place where we, among other things, made and ate some tortillas, watches an animation movie and played on Super Nintendo, yay. I found a cool (and cheap) top from Ebay with a flowery skull in it, and it seemed like a perfect choice for the midsummer fest.

A Daisy and a Balloon

Tässä pikaisesti pari kuvaa viime viikolta! Ekassa on aika kasuaali look, jota yritin piristää oranssilla Lime Crimen huulipunalla. Kävin muistaakseni shoppailemassa vaan jotain lankoja tai muita pikku juttuja. Toinen kuva onkin sit vappuaatolta, jollon kävin vähä hengailemassa joen rannalla ilmapallo- ja ihmiskavereitten kanssa.

Vappu meni aika rennosti ja rauhallisesti. Muutenkin oon rentoillu tässä ehkä vähä liikaakin. Pitää skarpata taas tällä viikolla, vaikka läsnäoloa vaativat kurssit loppuikin jo.

Here's just quickly a couple of photos from last week! The look on the first one is quite casual, though I tried to juice it with an orange lipstick by Lime Crime. I just went for shopping some yarn or some other small stuff, if I remember correctly. The second photo is from the May Day eve, when I spent some time hanging around near the river with some balloon and human friends.

I had a pretty relaxed and quiet May Day. Actually I've been relaxing maybe too much recently. I really need to pull my socks up this week, though I don't have any attendance-requiring courses anymore.

By the way, I wish a happy Star Wars day to everyone that it touches! May the Fourth be with you!

Synttärikukkia! Yleensä en oo kovin kiinnostunut kuvaamaan kukkia tai muita kasveja, mutta nämä oli niin sieviä, ja muutenkin saan kukkia niin harvoin. :)

Birthday flowers! Usually I'm not that interested in photographing flowers or other plants, but these were so beautiful, and I get flowers so rarely. :)
