Käytetyn tavaran ylistys jatkuu. Kasasin päivän asun vastikään Goottikirppikseltä ostetuista Hell Bunnyn hamosesta sekä Vero Modan "Scary but fun" -paidasta. Tykkään etenkin tosta hameesta aika hirmuisesti. Se on nätti ja pehmeä.
Nykyään en jaksa meikkaamiseen käyttää kovinkaan paljo aikaa, koska tukan laitto vie jo noin tunnin. Ah, luonnonkiharien suoristus.
The praise for used goods continues, as the outfit of the day consists of some recently gothic flea market finds: a Hell Bunny skirt and a Scary but Fun shirt by Vero Moda. I like especially that skirt no end. It's so pretty and soft.
Nowadays I don't really feel like putting much time and effort for the make-up, because just making my hair takes about an hour. Ah, straightening the naturally curly hair. </3 And, as you can see from the photo, they don't even keep straight for very long time. Argh.
Today's make-up was just white eye shadow, mascara and red lip gloss, but the sun shine in the photo (go away, spring) fades them.
The plan of today was to go and visit some flea markets again (different ones than on Monday), but it looks like that plan isn't going to come true after all, so today became a house day. But that's fine, it's good every now and then just stay home relaxing and listening to Moi dix Mois. Now I have to present a quite recently made, kooky band find that hopefully brings energy for your weekend too. (the video link up there)

Hello Kitty pants for the first Japanese lesson
Tulin just enkun tulkkaustunnilta. Huh huh, kielitäyteinen päivä.
Yesterday I had my first Japanese lesson, and due to it I wore for the first time my Hello Kitty pants (or leggings or whatever word you prefer) I bought earlier this summer.
I'm known for my pretty hostile attitude to leggings, but even I succumbed to buy a couple of them this summer. I'd rather had taken them as tights, but what can you do when the coolest prints end up in leggings and not in tights. Argh. But in general I think that leggings should be prohibited by law and especially the people wearing them as trousers should be stoned to death. I at least had a dress with my leggings.
On that Japanese introduction course I'm one of those few people who hasn't studied Japanese before. Most of the participants have studied it independently as I feared. But I'm a little disappointed at how ordinary-looking people there are on the course, though sure there are those couple of boys looking like real anime nerds. But still, I had expected more people looking like they're interested in Japanese stuff. But maybe those people don't go (get) to university.
I guess the fact I was wearing Hello Kitty pants affected my shopping trip, because I happened to choose a pink thermometer. There were also white and baby-blue ones. I've been planning on buying a new thermometer for a long time already, and now I happened to spot that one on sale. It sure is quite... pink.
Now I'm preparing for my first German lesson by listening to Blutengel. Yet I have Japanese before German. I just came home from an English interpreting course. Fairly language-oriented day.

Finds from a clothing swap & back to school
Ilmaset vaatteet on aina jes.
Varmaan muut siellä kurssilla on jotain kunnon animehörhöjä. :D
Huomenna palailen "koulun" penkkiin sit taas. Tällä viikolla alkaakin vaan yks kurssi, Tulkkauksen perusteet, jonka eka luento on siis huomenaamulla.
:D Paitsi kuunnella Nine Inch Nailsin uutta levyä.
There was an event called Joen yö here last Friday, and I went to see some of its acts. A local animal rights organization was throwing a clothing and items swap, so I carried there a bag of my old clothes, and I found something for myself too.
I need to work on that dotted shirt, because it has shoulder pads and it's too big for me. I took a liking to the fabric, which is why I took the shirt with me. That lilac/purple/whatever-the-colour-is shirt might also look better after some personalizing; black details could look great. The grey shirt is fine like that, and I really like the dress that is under the pile.
I didn't find anything else to take/buy in Joen yö, though there were all kinds of stalls around the city. Free clothing is always a cool thing.
Today I was brisk and woke up at ten to six in the morning to enrol on a basic course of Japanese. And on Friday I'll get to know if I can get on a course of German. Yup, I'm planning on starting to study two new languages this autumn. I've been craving German since primary school where I could have had a chance to start studying it, but there weren't enough pupils interested in taking it. In secondary school I started French, because it appealed more to the romantic goth in that time, and I didn't want to take two new languages. In high school I had enough work with the other languages and maths and physics and stuff, though I would've liked to start German then. I just didn't have time.
But maybe this time I'm lucky! And Japanese was in fact just a whim. Sure I've been listening to Japanese music since secondary school etc. etc., but learning the language itself hasn't really interested me. Naturally I've tried to figure out the meanings of some of my favourite songs, but that's pretty much it. I guess the others on that course are real anime geeks. :D
Tomorrow I'm getting back to "school". Only one course is starting this week, it's a course about interpretation, and its first lecture is on tomorrow morning. The thought of interpreting stuff terrifies me a bit, but maybe I'll survive. I've prepared for the new academic year with some new things.
I thought I could finally buy that kind of cardboard folder where I can carry papers, it's my fourth year in the university after all. But I guess I wouldn't really have bought a folder if I hadn't spotted that Darthy one. Ah. ♥
How do you feel about returning to the everyday life again after the holidays? (If you even had holidays.) On the one hand I find it nice but on the other hand not. It's nice because I can't get anything important done during holidays, so I believe all the important, undone things start to go well again with returning to the everyday routine. But on the other hand I'd like to keep doing nothing. :D Except listening to the new album by Nine Inch Nails.
