Hello Hooray

Huudan hurraata aika täydelliselle huulivoiteelle, joka kantaa nimee Hurraw. Luonnontuotteista valmistettu vegaaninen huulivoide tuoksuu herkulliselta sekä kosteuttaa tehokkaasti ja pitkäaikasesti. Etenkin Baby Lipsien kokeilun jälkeen oon kyllä ihan myyty tälle.

Noita Hurraw-huulivoiteita on ylistetty paikassa jos toisessakin, joten päätin itekin sit testailla semmosta. Ekaksi mauksi/tuoksuksi valikoitui ihanan raikas lime; oisin halunnu oikeestaan kahvin, mut sitä ei ollu valikoimissa Sokoksella, josta siis omani ostin. Mut eiköhän sen voi sit tän jälkeen ettii jostain muualta.

Aattelin tässä samassa postauksessa esitellä joitain muitakin viimeaikaisia ostoksia. Ensinnäkin miun sohvatyynyistä yks on ollu ikiajat ilman päällistä, kunnes tossa vähä aikaa sitten bongasin H&M:n nettikaupassa upeen vuohityynynpäällisen. Se ei nyt ihan noudattanu samaa mustavalkoperiaatetta kuin vanhemmat tyynynpäälliset, mut nappasin sen silti.

Toisekseen oon tehny aika hyviä levylöytöjä: The Cultin Choice of Weapon ja Saran Se keinuttaa meitä ajassa löyty Anttilasta vitosen kappalehintaan, ja IAMX:n The Unified Field taas loju paikallisen levyliikkeen poistolaarissa kuuen euron hintalappu kannessaan.

Musiikista puheen ollen hurraa-huudot raikaa myös WÖYH!:n uudelle sinkkubiisille, joka julkastiin perjantaina. Kuulostaa melkeinpä paremmalta kuin koko debyyttialbumi, vaikka tykkäsin siitäkin kovasti. Ootan innolla tota toista albumii, joka ilmestyy just sopivasti päivää ennen miun syntymäpäivää, sekä sit jäbien toukokuista keikkaa täällä.

I yell hooray for quite a perfect lip balm carrying the name Hurraw. It's all natural and vegan, and it smells delicious and it has an intensive and long-term moisturising effect. Especially after having tried the Baby Lips balms, I am totally sold to this.

The Hurraw lip balms have been praised in many places, so I decided to try one myself too. For my first scent/flavour I chose the wonderfully fresh lime; I would have wanted the coffee, but they didn't have that in their selection where I bought the balm. But I'm quite sure I'll go find it some other place after this one is finished.

I thought to show some other recent buys in this same post too. Firstly, one of my sofa cushions has been without a pillowcase for ages, until some time ago I spotted a gorgeous goat pillowcase in H&M web store. It didn't wuite follow the same black-and-white principle as the older ones, but I grabbed it anyway.

Secondly, I've made some pretty good CD finds: Choice of Weapon by The Cult and Se keinuttaa meitä ajassa by Sara cost both 5 euros in a department store, and The Unified Field by IAMX was on outlet in a local reord store with a 6 euro price sticker on its cover.

Speaking of music, the new single by WÖYH! deserve also some hooray yells. It came out on Friday, and it sounds almost better than the whole debut album, though I liked that also very much. I can't wait for the second album to come out; it's released just a day before my birthday. I'm also looking forward to the gig they'll be throwing here in May.

The First OOTD of the Year

Vuoden ekan asupostauksen asu ei oo kylläkään mitenkään ihmeellinen, mut kaipa aina välillä voi jakaa tämmösiä arkisempiakin asukokonaisuuksia. Tänään oli nimittäin luvassa niinkin jänniä askareita kuten Clas Ohlsonilla ja ruokakaupassa shoppailua sekä kirjastossa piipahtamista. (Unohin käärii paidan hihat alas ennen kuvan ottoo. :< )

Clas Ohlson on kyllä vallan mainio kauppa. Sieltä löytyy melkeinpä kaikkee, mitä nyt voikaan tarvita (ja mitä ei ees tarvii). Olin liikkeellä ihan ostoslistan kanssa ja tuotteiden hyllynumerot tietysti olin tarkistanu jo nettikaupasta, ettei tarvii pyörii siellä ihan onnettomana. Listalla oli mm. uus keittiöveitsi, ja tarkotus oli ostaa semmonen ihan tavallinen, mut bongasinkin tämmösen huikeen seepraraitaisen veitsen! Se oli vielä kaiken lisäks tarjouksessa ja halvempi kuin ne tylsemmät ja tavallisemmannäköset veitset.

Kuvan leikkuulaudan sain joskus lahjaks kaverilta. Muita kovin jänniä ostoksia en tällä kertaa tehny, eikä tossa veitsessäkään tietysti muuta jännää oo kuin toi kuviointi. Mut just ton takii tykkään Clas Ohlsonista – sieltä saattaa löytyy paljo siistimpi versio siitä tylsästä arkisesta jutusta, mitä sieltä olikaan etsimässä.

The outfit of the first OOTD post of the year isn't really that special, but I think it's nice to share some  more casual outfits every once in a while. Today I did not-so-exciting things like shopping at Clas Ohlson and a grocery store and visiting the library. (I forgot to roll down the sleeves of my shirt before taking the photo. :< )

Clas Ohlson is such a great store. You can find there almost anything you need (or even don't need). I had made a shopping list and checked the shelf numbers of each item in the web shop, so that I would find eveything easily. I had e.g. a new kitchen knife on my list, and I was going to buy just a regular one, but then I spotted that amazing zebra-striped one! In addition it was on sale and it was cheaper than those more boring and regular-looking ones.

The chopping board in the photo is a gift from a friend of mine. I didn't buy anything else that exciting besides that, and of course there's nothing more exciting in that knife than the pattern. But that's the reason I love Clas Ohlson – you can find there a much cooler version of that boring casual thing you were looking for.

Flea market finds

Kävinpä kiertelemässä torstaina Joensuun kirppareita, ja sieltähän löytyi jos jonkinmoista kivaa. Tässä teille parhaat palat; kaikkia pikku ostoksia en jaksanut alkaa kuvata.

Ensinnäkin ostin kaks mekkoo, joista molemmat on ehkä vähän yllättäviä valintoja miulle, koska kumpikaan ei oo musta. Jotenkin kuitenkin miellyin noihin, ja toi punanen mekko vois olla jopa hyvä juhannusmekko.

Sit vähän vähemmän yllättäviä vaatelöytöjä: kaks mustaa rimpsuhametta. Tykkään eniten just ton mallisista hameista. Toi ylempi kaipaa kylläkin ehkä hieman modausta, koska toi vyötäröosa on vähä turhan korkee.

Kenkäholisti ei myöskään voi välttyy kenkälöydöiltä. Sovitin tosi monia pareja, mut vaan yhet pääty lopulta mukaan: aika simppelit, kiiltävät mustat tennarit.

Satuin bongaamaan kuoharilasit, jotka on samaa sarjaa kuin aiemmin ostamani viinilasit. Miulla ei oikeita kuoharilaseja vielä ollukaan, joten olihan ne ostettava. Lisäks tollanen vanha sokerikippo toi niin vahvasti mieleen Luihuisen, että sekin oli pakko ostaa.

Viimeisenä muttei suinkaan vähäisimpänä esittelen mustan ja kiiltävän pingviinipariskunnan, jota oli muuten aika tuskaisaa yrittää valokuvata, kun kaikki valot heijastuu noista tolleen. Näitä ei voinu ohittaa. ♥ Toisen näistä aattelin antaa toiselle puoliskolleni, jos ton parin nyt raaskii erottaa.

Semmosta. Tänään meinasin pitää rennon kotipäivän, ja illalla aattelin palkita itseni tän kevään ja alkukesän akateemisesta ahkeroinnista punaviinillä ja ehkä jollain hyvällä (veripitoisella) elokuvalla. Nauttikaahan tekin viikonlopusta!

On Thursday I went for a flea market round in Joensuu, and I managed to find all kinds of great stuff there. Here are the best bits of my finds; I found taking photos of some smaller things quite unnecessary.

Let's start with two dresses that both are maybe a bit surprising choices for me, since neither of them is black. Somehow they just please me, and that red dress could even be great for the Midsummer.

Then some not-so-surprising clothing finds: two black ruffled skirts. My favourite kind of skirts. The upper one need some modification, though, since its waist part is a bit too high.

A shoeholist also finds something every time. I tried many pairs on, but only one ended up coming home with me: a pair of pretty simple, shiny black sneakers.

I happened to spot a set of glasses for sparkling wine that are similar to the wine glasses I bought earlier. I didn't even have real sparkling wine glasses before, so of course I bought them. Then there was this old sugar bowl that reminded me so strongly of Slytherin that I had to buy it.

Last but not least, I present to you a black and shiny penguin couple that was quite painful to photo since all the light reflects off it like that. I couldn't pass them. ♥ I thought to give one of these for my significant other, if we dare to separete the couple.

Today I'm going to just stay home and relax, and in the evening I'm going to reward myself for my hard academic working this spring and early summer with red wine and maybe a good (blood rich) movie. I hope you'll enjoy your weekend too!

Old for some, new for me

Tuntuu, että kuulun niihin ihmisiin, jotka löytää konkreettisilta kirppareilta vain jotain peruskamaa tai yksittäisiä hyviä löytöjä, mut eilen tarttui kyllä mukaan löytöjä, jotka ilahdutti kovasti! Kenkiä ei voi koskaan olla liikaa, ei etenkään halpoja sellaisia. Lisäksi löysin juuri senkaltaisen hameen, jollasta oon pitkään etsinyt.

Oon kaivannut puuvillaista/trikoista röyhelöhametta, ja nyt sit sellaisen löysin, ja sen sai vielä pikkurahalla. Ja tosiaan, jos joku ei oo vielä tietoinen, niin oon aikamoinen kenkäholisti, ja kirppareilla kierrellessäni automaattisesti silmäilen läpi eka kengät ja alahyllyt, joilla ne usein on.

Noi ekat kengät saattaa kuitenkin joutuu oottamaan käyttöönottoaan ensi vuoteen, koska täällä on maa ihan valkeena ja tälläkin hetkellä pyryttää vaan lisää lunta. Eipä tää varmaan vielä pysyvä lumi oo, mut voi silti olla, ettei noi kengät käy enää tähän vuodenaikaan.

It seems that I'm one of those people who find only some basic stuff or make only single good finds in the concrete flea markets, but yesterday I happened to find some things that really delighted me! You can never have too much shoes, especially not cheap ones. Additionally I found such a skirt I've been searching for.

I've needed a cotton/tricot flounced skirt, and now I found one with small change. And yeah, if someone doesn't know yet, I'm quite a shoe-holic, and when I'm in a flea market, I automatically check first the shoes and lower shelves where shoes usually are.

I may have to wait til next year for the implementation of those first shoes, because here the ground is white already and it's snowing even more at this very moment. Probably the snow won't stay long, but maybe those shoes still don't suit the season.

Girls that glitter love the dark

Huomasin tossa aiemmin kesällä sitten, että "oho, Glitterin bonuskortin leimojenkeräämisaika umpeutuu kohta", joten tuli melkein kiire kerätä se täyteen. Siihen pitää siis kerätä vuoden aikana kahdeksan leimaa, ja yhden leiman saa aina kymmenen euron ostoksesta. Sit kun kaikki leimat on täynnä, saa valita itelleen kymmenellä eurolla tavaraa.

Miulta puuttu vielä muutama leima, jotka sit keräsin tässä kesän aikana. Kymmenen euron etuni jätin vielä käyttämättä; se pitää käyttää vuoden sisällä viimeisestä leimasta. Tässä nyt kaikki tuotteet, jotka oon kesän aikana Glitteristä ostanu:

En oo vielä juurikaan käyttänyt noita muita, mut ruusupanta pääsi kokeiluun viime viikolla, kun vein poikaystäväni ulos syömään tämän syntymäpäivän kunniaksi.

Päällä on muuten ekaa kertaa myös aiemmin kesällä Vero Modan alennusmyynneistä ostettu mekko, joka kylläkin näkyy tossa kuvassa aika harmillisen huonosti. En jaksanu jäädä hirveesti kuvailemaan itteeni, etten myöhästyisi ruokatreffeiltä. :>

Nyt vähän harmittaa, etten ottanut/otattanut itsestäni kuvaa perjantaina, kun olin laittautunut bileisiin, koska se kokonaisuus ois sopinyt erittäin hyvin postauksen otsikkoon. Olin aika kimalteleva ja fabulous.


Earlier this summer I notices that "oops, my Glitter bonus card s missing some stamps and the time expires soon", so I had to collect the missing stamps almost in a hurry. Glitter is a shop selling jewellery and accessories, and you have to collect eight stamps in a year for the bonus card, and you get a stamp when you buy stuff for a 10 euros' worth. And when you have your eight stamps, you get to choose stuff for yourself for a 10 euros' worth. 

I needed a few more stamps, and I collected them during the summer. I didn't use my 10 euro benefit yet; you have to use it within a year from the last stamp. Here are all the stuff I bought during the summer from Glitter.

I have hardly wore/used the other things, but I wore the rose band last week when I took my boyfriend out for dinner. It was also the first time I wore a dress I bought earlier in the summer from Vero Moda's sales. Unfortunately the dress doesn't really show on that picture. I didn't have so much time to photo myself, because I didn't want to be late on the dinner date. :>

I hope I would have taken a picture of me on Friday, when I had got ready for a party, because the ensemble would've suited the heading of this post. I was quite glittery and fabulous. 

Getting ready for the weekend...

Tittidii, viikonloppuna ois siis tiedossa Animecon Kuopiossa, jonne kohti lähden huomenna. Tänään piti tehdä vielä viime hetken ostoksia, kun ekan päivän asu kaipas vielä jotain valkeita käsikoruja eikä toisen päivän asuun löytyny ehjiä verkkosukkiksia kotoo. Hivenen kimmeltävä valkee luomiväri tarttu myös mukaan ja tulee käyttöön ekan asun kanssa.

Pakkaaminenkin on jo ihan hyvällä mallilla: matkalaukusta löytyy jo ne kaikkein tärkeimmät asiat eli vaatteet ja asusteet. Melko mustavalkoisella linjalla mennään, kuten näette. Sunnuntaina pidetään ehkä pieni goottimiitti, jonne oon suunnitellut asua, jonka tärkeä osa on hämähäkinseittipitsi.

Joensuussa tuntuu olevan jo rokkihulinat meneillään. Ihan hyvä vaan, että pääsee niitä pakoon. :D Täällä on Ilosaarirockin aikaan omaan makuuni ihan liikaa ihmisiä joka paikassa. Hauskaa viikonloppuu kaikille, olittepa sit coneilemassa tai rokkaamassa tai tekemässä mitä hyvänsä!

So, my weekend plans include Animecon in Kuopio where I'll be heading for tomorrow. Today I had to do some final shopping, since I needed some white hand jewellery for the first outfit and new fishnet tights for the second outfit. I found also a white eye shadow that shimmers lightly and that will be used with the first outfit.

Packing is also at pretty good stage: my suitcase contains already the most important things that are the clothes and accessories. There's much black-and-white stuff, as you can see. There'll be maybe a small gothic meet-up on Sunday, and for it, I've planned an outfit with spiderweb lace.

It seems that the rock hullabaloo is already on way here in Joensuu. I'm quite happy to get away from it. :D During Ilosaarirock (a rock festival held in Joensuu every summer) there are a way too much people everywhere, I don't really like it. But I wish you all a happy weekend, whether you'll spend it at conventions or festivals or wherever!

Saatte nyt melko randomin postauksen viime päivistä, koska miulla ei oo varsinaisesti mitään järkevää sanottavaa. :D Mut joo, tässä on ollu vähä kaikenlaista häslinkiä, ja vaikka luennot loppu jo, niin lomasta ei oo kyllä tietoakaan vielä pitkään aikaan.

Päätin kokeilla pitkästä aikaa maapähkinävoita, jota oon maistellu viimeks joskus penskana. Muistaakseni en sillon tykänny siitä, mutta kyllä se nyt oli ihan hyvää. Kokeilin myös maapähkinävoi-hilloleipää, joka käsittääkseni on suosittu välipala Amerikassa, mut se ei kyllä iskeny. Vaikutti kyllä tosi terveelliseltä välipalalta...

I decided to try peanut butter again. I was a child last time I tasted it, and if I remember right, I didn't like it then, but now it tasted fine. I tried also a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is a popular snack in America, but I didn't really like it. And it seemed like a very healthy snack indeed...

Äiskälle löytyi jotain nättiä ja käsintehtyä äitienpäivälahjaksi. :)

I found something pretty and handmade for my Mum as a Mother's Day gift. (We are celebrating Mother's Day here in Finland this Sunday.)

Itselleni löysin tommoiset pienet annos-/uunivuoat. En tiiä, tykkäänkö noista marjakuvioista, mut toi vuokapaketti oli halpa ja muuten noi on ihan kivat.

For myself, I found small ramekin / oven dishes. I'm not sure if I like those berry patterns, but the 4-pack was cheap and in other ways they are nice.

Niin ja ostinhan toki Carlsonin alennusmyynnistä myös kengät, joita piti kylläkin mietiskellä ihan yön yli. Toi korkokin näyttää ihan mitättömältä näissä kuvissa, vaikka se onkin jotain 12 senttii.

Oh yeah, I bought also shoes from sales, though I didn't buy them immediately but had to think about it. And next day I went to buy them. :) Those heels look so low in these photos, though it is like 12 cm or so.

Kuukauden odotetuin posti pääsi taas pettämään odotukset. Tosta lehdestä on kyllä tullut aikojen saatossa ihan surkee. En tiiä, miks enää ees tilaan sitä. Ehkä yritän vain uskoa siihen, että joskus olisi oikeasti kivoja kaavoja. Mut ei, nyyh.

The most expected mail of the month didn't come up to expectations again. It's a Finnish handicraft magazine, and it really has started to suck with the years. I don't even know why I'm ordering that anymore. Maybe I try to believe that someday there would be really nice patterns. But no, boo-hoo.

Joensuussa alkaa olla jopa ärsyttävän keväinen ilma, ja sen kunniaksi vedin jalkaani kukkasukkikset, jotka kylläkin kuulemma näyttävät enemmän pitkiltä kalsareilta. Kiitos vaan tästä. (Eikä nää ees oo mitkään typerät legginsit vaan ihan sukkahousut.)

The weather is getting even annoyingly springlike here in Joensuu, and because of that, I pulled on flower tights, but someone told me they look more like long johns. Thanks about that. (And these aren't even some stupid leggings but tights.)

Tänään on vielä luvassa ainakin äitienpäiväkortin askartelua sekä jääkiekkoa, jota varten käytiin just ostamassa pitaleipätarpeita, nams. Mukavaa loppuviikkoo kaikille!

Later today I will at least make a Mother's Day card and watch ice hockey, and for the latter we bought pita bread stuff, yum. Have a nice rest of the week!

In the cookies of life, sisters are the chocolate chips

Pikkusisko kyläili luonani edellisen viikonlopun. Samalla sain jotain etukäteislahjoja, koska täytän vuosia myöhemmin tällä viikolla.

My little sister came over for the last weekend. I also got already some presents, because I have my birthday later this week.

Kokovartalopeilii oonkin kaivannut. Nyt voin ottaa ihkui peilikuvii!!1! Huomatkaa etenkin stormtrooper-juliste.

I really needed a full-length mirror. Now I can take teen mirror pictures!!1! Notice especially the stormtrooper poster.

Hello Kitty -klipsit oli miun pikkusiskolta. Pingviinini Paavo sai hatun, kun sisko toi samalla vanhan silinterihattuni mukanaan. Joskus käytin tota koko ajan, joka päivä, joka paikassa.

Those Hello Kitty clips are from my sister. My penguin Paavo got a hat, because the sister brought my old top hat also with her. Years ago I wore that hat all the time, everyday, everywhere.

Viikonloppu meni tosi nopeesti shoppaillessa, syödessä ja leffaillessa. Me käytiin kattomassa lauantaina Oblivion, joka oli kyllä parempi kuin osasin oottakaan. Ootin sen näyttävän upeelta, ja niinhän se näyttikin, mut lisäks se oli ihan elokuvanakin aika hyvä. Oli hieno leffakokemus. Shoppailukierrokselta löyty myös jotain kivaa.

The weekend passed so quickly shopping, eating and watching movies. On Saturdaty, we went to see Oblivion that was much better I could even expect. I expected it to look awesome, and it did, but in addition it was pretty good as a movie also. It was a great movie experience. I found something cool while shopping too.

Two days, three pairs of shoes

Jep, tulinpa sit eilisen ja tän päivän aikana ostaneeksi kolmet kengät. Mut hei, kahet niistä tuli erittäin tarpeeseen, ja yhet oli vaan halvat ja hienot! :D

Talvella tykkään kulkea kävellen, joten tarviin hyvät talvikengät, joilla on hyvä kävellä. Entiset kengät alkoivat olla jo melko hajoamispisteessä, joten uudet piti löytää melko äkkiä. Valitettavasti kevät- ja kesäkengät on jo ehtineet vallata suurimman osan kenkäkaupoista ja -osastoista, ja jäljellä on enää tosi jämätalvikenkiä, mutta satuin löytämään Mekan alennusmyynnistä ihan kohtuullisen näköiset ja hyvältä jalassa tuntuvat kengät.

Semmoset peruskengät. Toi varsi on vähän ärsyttävän löysä, siis se ei oo ihan säärenmyötäinen, mut ehkä pärjään.

Oon etsinyt pitkään kivoja kumppareita. Kateellisena oon katellut lasten hauskoja kumpparimalleja, joiden isoin koko on aina ollut just kokoo liian pieni. Ei oo Star Wars -kumpparit koskaan sopinu, vaikka oon miten yrittäny. Mut eilen Prismassa huomio kiinnittyi mustavalkoraidallisiin kumppareihin. Eka näytti siltä, että jäljellä oli vaan liian isoja kokoja, mut sit muitten popojen alta löyty yks pari sopivaa kokoa! Jee!

Oon jo suunnitellu mielessäni kaikkia hienoja mustavalkoisia asuja sateisille kevätpäiville. :)

Viimeisenä sit kengät, jotka tarttuivat pienen arastelun jälkeen mukaan kirppikseltä. Noi kyllä vähä pelottaa minuu itteenikin, koska ne on miun elämäni ekat piikkikorkkarit. En sit alottanu ees mitenkään kevyesti vaan ihan reippaasti tämmösillä:

Korko on noin 12 senttii ja korokepohja noin 4 senttii. Huomasin noi kyllä heti siellä hyllyllä, mut eka kävelin vaan ohi ajatellen, että en mie pysty tommosia käyttämään vaikka upeet ovatkin. Palasin kuitenkin kohta takaisin sovittamaan niitä, ja oho, eipä ne jalassa tuntuneetkaan niin hurjan vaarallisilta miltä ne näyttivät. Ja mukaanhan ne sit lähti ja vain kympillä.

Kotona sovittelin noita uudestaan, ja huomasin sit, minkä takia ne varmaankin oli myynnissä: toi toisen kengän remmi on pitempi, eli toinen kenkä on löysempi jalassa. Aattelin kuitenkin yrittää fiksata sitä jotenkin, en vaan vielä oo ihan varma, miten. Ehkä teen tohon sivuun vielä yhen reiän tolle soljelle, niin että se sit tiukkenee.

En kyllä oikeesti tiiä, missä uskallan noilla kävellä, koska vähän kyllä pelottaa. :D Oon aina ollut paksumpien korkojen, kiilakorkojen tai ihan vaan platformien ystävä, enkä oo tainnut piikkikorkkareita ees sovittaa aiemmin. Nooo, ehkäpä opin käyttämään noita. :D

Mukavaa viikonlopun jatkoa kaikille!

Yeah, so it happened that I bought three pairs of shoes during yesterday and today. But hey, two of them were just what I needed and the third pair was just cheap and gorgeous! :D

In winter, I like to walk, so I need good winter shoes that are good for walking. My previous shoes are coming apart, so I needed to find new ones pretty quickly (since it's still very wintry here). Unfortunately spring and summer shoes are already dominating the shoe stores and departments, and the remaining winter shoes usually are something that nobody wants, but I managed to find a decent-looking and comfortable pair in Mekka (a shoe store). 

Pretty basic shoes. That leg part is kinda annoying, because it's a bit loose and not tight-fitting, but maybe I'll get along.

I've been looking for nice rubber boots for pretty long time already. Enviously I have watched cool children rubber boots whose largest size is always just one size too small. The Star Wars boots haven't ever been right-sized, no matter how hard I've tried. But yesterday I noticed black and white striped rubber boots in Prisma. At first it looked like there were only too large sizes left, but then I found one fitting pair under the other shoes! Yey!

I've already planned some black and white outfits for rainy spring days. :)

And then the shoes that I bought from a flea market after small hesitating. I'm still a bit scared of those, because they are my first stilettos ever. And I didn't even start very lightly...

The heel is about 12 cm and the platform is about 4 cm. I noticed them right away on the shelf, but first I just walked pass them thinking that I couldn't wear them though they are gorgeous. But then I returned to try them on, and wow, they didin't feel as dangerous as they looked like. And so I bought them, and they cost only 10 €.

I tried them on again at home and I discovered the probable reason why somebody had wanted to sell them: the strap of the other shoe is longer, so the other shoe is more loose on. I'm going to try to fix it somehow, I just don't know yet how. Maybe I'll make one more hole for the buckle so that it tightens.

I don't really know, where I can walk with those, because I'm a bit frightened. :D I've always preferred block heels, wedge heels and just platform boots, and I think I haven't even tried stilettos on before. Well oh well, maybe I'll learn to use them. :D
