Halloween Atmosphere

Toivottavasti kaikkien halloweenit meni mukavasti. :) Minulla oli poikkeuksellisesti vaan yhdet bileet ja nekin oli jo aiemmin viikolla, joten ite halloween-viikonloppuna oli sit luvassa vaan chillailua ja fiilistelyä. Niiden ainoiden bileiden asusta en tullu ottaneeksi kuvaa, mut saatan lavastaa tilanteen uusiksi tässä jokin päivä ja postailla asukuvia sit tänne, koska siihen oli kiinnostusta. ^_^

          Tässä kumminkin pari halloween-teemaista kuvaa. Askartelin tossa taannoin elämäni ekan kranssin, jonka iskin saman tien ulko-oveeni roikkumaan. Halloween-iltana oli sit tarjolla kurpitsapiirakkaa, joka sekin muuten oli elämäni eka sellainen. Oli kyllä aika hyvää, vaikkakaan ei hirveän kuvauksellisen näköistä. :D Ehkä ois pitäny tehä vaikka jotkin hämähäkinseittikoristelut tai jotain. Siinä on päällä siis tuorejuustokuorute, siks se on vaaleeta eikä kurpitsanoranssia.

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! :) I had exceptionally just one Halloween party to attend to and it was already on Wednesday, so the Halloween weekend was just for chilling and enjoying the atmosphere. I didn't take a photo of my costume from that party, but I might dress up as the same character again soon and post some costume photos here then, since somebody was interested in seeing that. ^_^

          Here's a couple of Halloween-y photos anyway. Some time ago I made my first wreath ever and hang it on my door right away. On Halloween evening we had some pumpkin pie that was also a first one I had ever made btw. It was quite delicious, though not very picturesque. :D Maybe I should have done some spiderweb decoration or something. The frosting is cream cheese, which is why it's light-coloured instead of pumpkin orange.

Jee, halloween-viikko! ^_^ Hukutettu nukke oli saanu tämmösen kivan halloween-haastejutskan, johon aattelin tarttuu, että tulee blogiin ees jotain sisältöö taas pitkästä aikaa. :D Teen tän nyt ihan englanniksi, kun sillä kielellä se valmiikskin oli. Yay, it's the Halloween week! ^_^ Hukutettu nukke has received this cool Halloween tag thing, and I decided to do it too, so there would be at least something in my blog after such a long time. :D I'm going to do this just in English. The tag is to answer the 13 questions and then tag 5 more bloggers, but I don't feel like tagging anybody. This Is Halloween, without a doubt. The second one is Every Day Is Halloween by Ministry.

2. Witch or Vampire?

Oh, I've been a huge vampire fan since forever, so I'm gonna go with that.

3. Favorite thing about Halloween?

Just everything! The atmosphere, decorations, horror, colours, pumpkins, everything!

4. Halloween party or scary movie marathon?

I really enjoy wearing costumes, so Halloween parties are always the best parties of the year.

5. Skeletons or Zombies?

That's a tough one, since I don't have very strong feelings for neither. Maybe skeletons, because they're usually so classy.

6. Favorite Halloween candy?

There isn't really any special Halloween candy in Finland, so I don't know. :< But I've always wanted to taste those cute candy corns!

7. Favorite Halloween movie?

Nightmare Before Christmas, though it's also a Christmas movie. ^_^

8. Favorite Halloween costume?

I was quite happy with my nurse costume last year, but I haven't had any actual favourites.

9. Favorite Halloween store?

There aren't any Halloween stores either in Finland. :< Halloween isn't that big deal here, which is a real  shame.

Yes! I haven't ever carved one myself, though, but they do look cool.

11. Bats or Black Cats?

Despite generally being a cat person, I'm gonna go with bats in this case.

12. Is Halloween your favorite holiday?

Definitely! Though I consider it more of a way of life than a holiday. :)

13. Pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate?

I haven't tried any pumpkin drinks, so I don't know. :<

Hauskaa halloweenia/samhainia/mitä juhlittekin itse kullekin! Ekaks haluun jakaa kuvan, jonka otin Vanha Viinakon Laki -kannanottoa varten ja jonka lopputulokseen oon aika tyytyväinen.

Jos joku siis ei oo sattunu kuulemaan tosta, niin tarkotuksena oli vaihtaa tänään FB-profiilikuvaksi kuva lempparialkoholijuomastaan kannanottona tolle järettömämmäks muuttuvalle alkoholilaille. Omaa lempparii piti miettii hetki, mut lopulta vastaus oli kuitenkin ihan ilmeinen. Ja halusin jonkin halloween-henkisen kuvan, kun nyt sitä aikaa tässä elellään. :>

Miun päivä alko tentillä, jonne suuntasin tän näkösenä:

Tentti tuntu menevän ihan hyvin, ja muutenkin on ollu mukava vaikkakin rauhallinen päivä, eikä rauhallisuus oo nyt illallakaan muuttumassa miksikään. Alkujaan olin suunnitellu meneväni tänään yksiin halloween-bileisiin, mut sit selviskin, että seuraavana päivänä kaverini pitää omat bileet, niin tulin siihen tulokseen, että kahet pirskeet peräkkäin voi olla liikaa. :D Ja kaverin bileet, jotka on myös samalla sen synttärit, voitti luonnollisesti.

Tänään tosiaan aion vaan rentoutuu, ehkä nauttia hieman punaviiniä ja pelata jotain kauhupeliä tai kattoo jotain teemaan sopivaa leffaa. Ja popsia noita söpöjä suklaanamuja, jotka tarttu viime viikolla karkkikaupasta mukaan. Oon säästäny niitä täks päiväks. :)

Happy Halloween/Samhain/whatever you're celebrating to each and everyone of you! First I want to share a photo I took for a Finnish FB event. I think it turned out quite well. So the point of the event was to change your FB profile picture into a photo of your favourite alcoholic drink as a take on Finland's crazy alcohol politics. (The alcohol laws will change here next year, and from then on it's forbidden to e.g. advertise any alcohol drinks or write about alcoholic drinks in your blogs and so on. That's all so that youngsters wouldn't get bad influence blah blah.) I had to ponder my own favourite for a minute or two, but in the end the answer was quite obvious. And I wanted to have a Halloween-themed photo since we're in the middle of it right now. :>

My day begun with an exam, and that's how I looked there. The exam seemed to be going quite smoothly, and I've been having a nice though peaceful day, and my evening is going to be the same kind. At first I had thought of going to a Halloween party tonight, but then I found out a friend of mine was going to have a party of their own on next day, and I came to the conclusion that two party nights in a row could be too much for me. :D So my friend's party which is also their birthday party naturally won.

So tonight I'm going to just relax, maybe have some red wine and play a horror video game or watch a horror movie or something. And eat those cute chocolate things that I bought last week in candy store. I've been saving them for this day. :)

Oh my sweet nurse

Eilen oli tän syksyn ekat halloween-bileet. Täällä on kieltenopiskelijoilla tapana pitää yhteiset pippalot, ja noi oli nyt sit ne. Mie päädyin ottamaan kuvia eri laittautumisvaiheistani, joten nyt saatte nähä, miten illan asuni ja meikkini valmistui.

Just ennen kotoo lähtöö pursutin vielä tekoverta suuhun ja annoin sen valuu leukaan pitkin, ja voilá! Kuvia ois ollu vielä enemmänkin, mut jostain syystä blogger haluu värjätä niistä muista silmät sinisiks. o_O

Mut oli kiva ilta, vaikka maanantai ei ehkä paras bileilta ookaan. :D Aamulla ei sit ollukaan enää yhtä viehkee olo kuin illalla, mut sellasta se elämä on. Seuraavat bailut ois luvassa viikonloppuna, enkä oo vielä päättäny, uusinko hoitsu-lookin vai kehittelenkö jotain muuta sit niitä varten.

Yesterday I was on my first Halloween party this autumn. Here it's a tradition that language students have their own party, and so yesterday was that. I ended up taking photos of the different phases of doing my face, so now you'll get to see how my make-up and costume were made up.

Just before leaving for the party, I poured some fake blood in my mouth and let it fall down my chin, and voilá! I had more photos too, but for some reason blogger wants to colour my eyes blue in them. o_O

But it was a fun night, though Monday may not be the best party day. :D Today morning I wasn't feeling that charming anymore, but that's life. The next party is on weekend, and I'm not yet sure if I'll be a nurse again or if I'll hatch something else.

I got snakes in my hair, I got spiders on my feet

No ei ollu oikeesti käärmeitä tukassa ja hämähäkkejä jaloissa tänään. Sen sijaan näytin tältä:



Siinä näkyy valitettavasti myös epäviehkeä keittiönurkkaukseni, pahoittelen. Enkä oo varma, oonko esitelly näitä kielinörtin lempparisukkiksia aiemmin, joten tässä vielä kuva niistäkin:

Ois kyllä kivempi, jos noissa ois ihan jotain järkeviä sanoja tms., mut onhan pelkät kirjaimetkin ihan siisti juttu. Mut melkeinpä vielä siistimpi juttu on tää monsteriboksi, jonka ostin itelleni halloween-lahjaks!

Miulla oli ennestään vaan Dracula-boksi, jossa on siis Lugosi-Dracula ja sen kolme jotain jatko-osaa, ja oon yrittäny ettii samanlaisii bokseja noista muistakin klassisista "monstereista" mut huonoin tuloksin. Mut nyt oli tullu uutuutena tommonen kaheksan leffan paketti, jossa on siis Draculan lisäks Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, The Phantom of the Opera ja Creature from the Black Lagoon. ♥ Ehkä näitten parissa jaksaa ootella loppukuun karmivia bileitä.

Well I didn't really have snakes in my hair and spiders on my feet today. Instead I looked like that. Unfortunately my not-so-beautiful kitchen corner is also visible in the photos, sorry about that. And I'm not sure if I have shown before those language geek's favourite tights, so there's a photo of them too.

I think they would be even neater if they had some actual words or something like that in them, but bare letters are quite a cool thing, too. But almost cooler thing is the monster box I bought for myself as a Halloween present!

Previously I had only a Dracula box having the Lugosi Dracula and three sequels, and I've been trying to look for other similar boxes of the other classical "monsters" but without result. But now there's this brand new box of eight movies, including Dracula, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, The Phantom of the Opera and Creature from the Black Lagoon. ♥ Maybe these will help me to wait patiently for the creepy parties at the end of the month.

Otsikon sitaatti kuvaa täydellisesti omia tuntemuksiani lokakuusta. Oon tainnu kirjottaa tästä aiheesta aiemminkin, mut lokakuu on kyllä ehdoton suosikkikuukauteni ― eikä vähiten halloweenin takia. (Vaikka halloween onkin oikeestaan miulle enemmän mielentila kuin vain yks tietty päivä.)

Ihan kuin fiikuksenikin haluis juhlistaa tätä upeaa kuukautta, koska se puskee innokkaasti pikku kukkia. Sain ton kasvin tässä vähän aikaa sit äidiltäni, ja yritän nyt sitä hoitaa tässä niin hyvin, että se säilyis mahollisimman pitkään hengissä. :D En siis oo mikään luontainen viherpeukalo, ja tähän mennessä parhaiten oon pärjänny kaktusten kanssa, joista vanhin oli miulla yli kymmenen vuotta. Sit se vaan kuivu kasaan.

                               
Aattelin nyt vaihteen vuoks esitellä, mitä teen, kun en jaksa suoristaa hiuksia. Jos käyn vaikka vaan ruokakaupassa, niin en kyllä viiti alkaa käyttää tuntii hiusten laittamiseen. Nää on jo onneks niin pitkät, että voi laittaa tukan vaan poninhännälle ja tarvittaessa suoristaa sit etutukkaa. En kylläkään oo sitä mieltä, että poninhätä-look käy miulle, mut eiköhän se jotain kauppareissuu varten oo ihan riittävä. Ja nyt kun sää viilenee, niin voi myös vetästä vaan pipon päähän.



















Toi pipokuva on tältä päivältä ja toi eka kuva viime viikolta, ja pitää kyllä sanoo, että tänään tuli vähä turhan kuuma tossa pipossa. Ei oo vielä ihan pipokelit kuitenkaan.

Pitää myös mainita, että en tällä hetkellä oo enää noin meikitön, koska ideoin just meikkejä halloween-asuuni, jonka tärkeimmät osat hain postista just tänään. Kylppäri on ihan tekoveressä. :D Ei vitsi, oon ihan innoissani tästä asusta, enkä jaksais oottaa kolmee viikkoo, että pääsen käyttämään sitä ihmisten ilmoilla! Tiedossa on varmaan ainakin kahet bileet, joista toisten ajankohta on jo selvillä. En paljasta mitään ennen niitä. :p

PS. En yhtään tiiä, miks kuvien jälkeen näyttäs olevan noin isot välit.

The quote in the heading describes perfectly my thoughts about October. I think I've written about this before already, but  October is absolutely my favourite month ― and not least because of Halloween. (Though for me Halloween is more than just one day, it's a state of a mind.)

As if my ficus wanted to celebrate this glorious month too, since it's eagerly pushing out little flowers. My mother gave me that plant a little while ago, and I'm doing my best on trying to keep it alive as long as possible. :D So I don't have naturally green fingers, and so far I've been best with cactuses. I had my oldest cactus for over ten years, and then it just dried dead.

For a change, I wanted to show you what I do when I don't feel up to straightening my hair. I don't think it's necessary to spend an hour for doing my hair, when I'm going to go just to buy some food stuff, for example. Luckily my hair is already long enough to make a pony-tail, and then I straighten the fringe, if necessary. I don't really think the pony-tail look suits me, but it's good enough for the grocery shop. And now, when the weather is getting colder, I can also just wear a beanie.

The beanie photo is from today and the first photo is from last week, and I must say that today was a bit too warm day for wearing a beanie, so I guess I have to wait a bit more with that beanie look.

I also have to mention that I'm not that makeupless anymore, since I was just planning my Halloween make-up. I received just today the main parts of my costume. There is fake blood all over my bathroom. :D Yikes, I'm so excited about this costume, and it's killing me to wait three weeks before I'm able to wear this in parties! I'm attending at least two Halloween parties. I'm not going to reveal anything before them. :p

PS. I have no idea why it looks like there as so huge space after the photos.

My Halloween (finally)

No niin, nyt lopulta on luvassa pieni halloween-postaus, mut parempi myöhään kuin ei milloinkaan, vai kuinka? Mut osallistuin siis tänä vuonna kaksiin halloween-bileisiin, ja sain molempiin uljaan urhoni seuraksi. Enemmänkin bileitä ois ollut tarjolla, mutta ei vaan aika ja energia riittänyt kaikkeen.

Ekoissa bileissä me oltiin vampyyreja. Mie olin melko klassinen verenimijä, kun taas toi toinen halusi edustaa vähän modernimpaa ja kimaltelevampaa olentoa...

Harmittavasti ihQ kimallegeeli ei kimaltele tossa kuvassa niin fabulousisti kuin se oikeesti kimalsi. Ja oikeesti miekin olin ihan lempeä ja rauhaa ja rakkautta ja yksisarvisia arvostava pimeyden lapsi. Toi keppiyksisarvinen oli bileiden järjestäjän, ja oon kyllä tosi kateellinen siitä! Ja asuunihan en ostanut muuta kuin nuo huikeat piilolinssit onnistuttuani lopulta löytämään punaiset piilarit tarpeeksi suurilla vahvuuksilla.

Toisissa bileissä taas oltiin pingviinejä! Tässä meidän hienot (kännykkäkameralaatuiset) perhepotretit pikkupingu Paavon kanssa. Mie yritin olla vähän demonisempi pingviini, mutta kävi samoin kuin vampyyriasun kanssa, eli en loppujen lopuksi onnistunut olemaan kovinkaan pelottava. :D

Muut onkin kirjoitelleet halloweenistaan jo aikapäivät sit, ja kaikilla tuntuu olleen hauskaa. Vähä kyllä harmittaa, ettei halloween oo ees puoliks niin yhtä suuri juttu kuin Amerikassa, vaan joulu jyrää selvästi. Kaupoissa oli joulukamaa jo ennen kuin halloween oli kerinnyt ees tulla! Järjetöntä.

Sain muuten tänä vuonna elämäni ekan halloween-lahjan: vampyyri- ja pingviinikumppanini nimittäin osti miulle Amnesian steamin halloween-aleista. ^_^ Se oli kyllä ihana yllätys. En tosin oo vielä kerinny(/uskaltanu) kokeilla sitä, mut ehkä lähiaikoina!

Here's finally a little post about my Halloween. Better late than never, right? So, I went to two different Halloween parties this year, and I was lucky to have my dearest one as a companion in both of the parties. There were even more parties where I got invited, but I just didn't have enough time and energy for all of them. 

In the first party we dressed as vampires. I was pretty classical bloodsucker, while my other half wanted to represent a more modern and sparkling creature... Too bad the glitter gel don't sparkle in that photo as fabulously as it did in real life.

And even I was actually quite a gentle child of the night who loves peace and love and unicorns. That hobby unicorn belonged to the hostess of the party. I'm really envious of it! And I didn't buy anything for my costume except those awesome contact lenses as I managed to finally find res lenses with enough power.

And in the second party we were penguins! There you can see our gorgeous (camera phone quality) family portraits with little penguin Paavo. I was trying to be a more demonic penguin, but like with the vampire costume, I didn't really succeed in being scary. :D

I've seen people write about their Halloween a while ago, and it seems everybody was having a good time. It's a shame Halloween isn't eve half as big deal here in Finland as it is in America, but Christmas clearly overrules. There were Christmas stuff in the stores even before Halloween had arrived! That's just insane.

By the way, this year I got my first Halloween present ever: my vampire and penguin partner bought me Amnesia from Steam Halloween sales. ^_^ That was a lovely surprise. I haven't yet had time (/courage) to try it, but maybe in the near future!

Oh, sweet October

Ah, lempivuodenaikani syksy saa miut niin onnelliseksi. Etenkin lokakuussa tuntuu se syksyn perimmäinen olemus. Miten ihanaa onkaan tallustella puista pudonneiden lehtien koristamilla teillä ja nauttia syksyn väreistä ja tuoksuista! Sekä tietenkin hitaasti mutta varmasti lähestyvästä halloweenista.

Tiiän, ettei syksy tosiaankaan oo kaikille sitä vuoden parasta aikaa, ja monet kärsii ainakin jonkinasteisesta kaamosväsymyksestä tai -masennuksesta. Itse koen kuitenkin herääväni henkiin syksyllä. Saa taas pukeutua kunnolla ja nätisti, eikä tarvitse katsella muitakaan iljettävän vähäpukeisina kuten kesällä.

Miulla on taas aika kiireinen syksy. Koulupäivät kestävät myöhään, ja vaikkeivät luennot vielä aamulla alkaisikaan, tuntuu uuvuttavalta päästä vasta kuuden maissa kotiin. Ja sen jälkeen pitäis tietysti tehdä vielä kaikkia kirjallisia, itsenäisiä kouluhommia. Syksy tuntuu kuitenkin antavan voimaa.

Yleensä ihmiset kai pitää eniten siitä vuodenajasta, joka on sattunut olemaan menossa heidän syntymänsä aikaan. No, mie synnyin keväällä ja vihaan kevättä oikeestaan jopa enemmän kuin kesää, ja sydämessäni olen kyllä täysi syksyn lapsi.

En oo hirveesti kerinnyt tännekään kirjoitella, kun on ollut kaikkee muuta. Mutta eiköhän viimestään halloweenin aikoihin tuu enemmän tarinaa, koska näillä näkymin luvassa on ainakin kahdet halloween-bileet, joihin molempiin miulla on valmisteilla eri asu. Jee, vuoden odotetuin aika on taas pian käsillä. ^_^ Vaikka joka päivä onkin tavallaan halloween, niin on tuossa lokakuun lopussa silti jotakin erityistä.

Ah, autumn, my favourite season, makes me so happy. Especially on October, the ultimate substance of autumn can be sensed. How wonderful it is to walk on streets decorated by fallen leaves and to enjoy the colours and scents of autumn! And of course Halloween that is approaching slowly but surely. 

I know not all the people find autumn the best time of year, and many people suffer from some kind of seasonal affective disorder. But I feel like coming back alive in the autumn. You can again dress nicely and properly, and you don't have to look at the other people's disgustingly scantily clad bodies either, like in the summer.

My autumn is pretty busy again. I only get home almost every day around 6 p.m., and though I don't every day have morning lectures, it still feels pretty exhausting to come home so late. And after that one should make of course also different kinds of written assignments. But autumn seems to be giving energy.

I guess people usually like the season during which they've been born. Well, I was born in the spring and I actually hate spring even more than summer, and in my heart I'm a true child of autumn.

I haven't had much time to write stuff here either. But I'm sure that at least around Halloween there'll be more posts, because, for the foreseeable future, I'll be going to at least two Halloween parties, and I have different costumes for both of them. Yay, the most long-awaited time of the year will soon be upon us. ^_^ Though every day is kind of Halloween, there's something special about the end of October.

The worst Halloween ever

Halloween on vuoden lempipäiväni. Vaikka tavallaan "joka päivä on Halloween", lokakuun viimeisenä se on sitä tavallistakin enemmän. Tai sit ei.

Tänään on ollut melko rasittava päivä. Ensinnäkin nukuin huonosti ja jouduin heräämään aikaisin, ja herättyäni huomasin, että kappas, yön aikana on satanut ihan reilusti lunta, eli pyöräilystä ei tullut mitään ja kävelykin oli hieman hankalaa liukkauden takia.

Pukeuduin kivasti ja meikkasin kivasti ja ostin Halloween-kakkua, mutta oon ollut vaan tosi väsynyt koko päivän, ja nenäkin on flunssan takia aika tukossa. Vähän saattaa kuumettakin olla. Tänä iltana olisi eräät Halloween-bileet, joihin olin innoissani menossa, mutta en sitten vain yksinkertaisesti jaksanut. Ensinnäkin olisin joutunut kävelemään varmaan puolen tunnin ajan liukastellen, ja toisekseen oli jo muutenkin niin voimaton olo. Istuin puolet Nuuskamuikkusen asustani päälläni keskellä lattiaa onnettomana. Olisin halunnut mennä, mutta tiesin, että on parempi jättää menemättä, koska oon jo valmiiksi väsynyt ja onneton. Sadan ihmisen bileet tuskin ois ainakaan auttanut sitä.

Nyt istun sit yksin kotona syömässä hämähäkinseittikuvioista porkkanakakkua, ja rupeen varmaan kohta nukkumaan. Viikonloppuna ois toiset Halloween-bileet, ehkä niihin jaksais jo osallistua.

Halloween is my favourite day of year. Though "every day is Halloween", the last of October is it even more. Or not.

This has been pretty irritating day. First, I didn't sleep well and I had to get up early, and after waking up I noticed that it had snowed pretty much during the night, so biking was out of the question and even walking was a bit hard because of the slipperiness.

I  put nice clothing and nice make-up and bought a Halloween cake, but I've been very tired all day, and my nose is pretty blocked because of flu. I may have a bit fever too. Tonight there is some Halloween party I was happily going to go, but I just couldn't manage to go, I was too tired. I should have walked at least for half an hour slipping and sliding, and I felt so powerless already. I just sat there, in the middle of the room, half of my Snusmumriken costume on, and felt miserable. I would have wanted to go, but I knew it was better not to, because I'm already tired and miserable. I don't think the party of a hundred people would have helped it.

So now I'm sitting home alone eating carrot cake with cobweb decorating, and I think I'm soon off to bed. There is another Halloween party on weekend, and maybe I would have energy to go there.

Addictions

Sain Yoru Mistiltä addiktiohaasteen, jonka kaltaiseen vastasin jo alkukuusta, mutta ajattelin, että ehkä on hauskaa tehdä tällainen nyt taas kuun lopussa. Eli tarkoituksena on kertoa kuvien kera asioista, joihin on addiktoitunut tällä hetkellä.

Yoru Mist gave me a challenge that's similar to the one I already did in the beginning of this month, but I thought it could be fun to do this again now in the end of the month. So the idea is to tell with pictures about things you are addicted to at the moment.

Pottermore. Oon vasta nyt kunnolla innostunut Pottermoresta. Liityin kyllä sinne jo huhtikuussa, mutta pääsyin Korpinkynteen, joka toki oli toiseksi paras vaihtoehto, mutta en jaksanut hirveästi nähdä vaivaa kerätäkseni pisteitä tuvalle, joka kuitenkin tuntui vieraalta. Nyt muutama päivä sitten tein uuden accountin, ja kas kummaa, lajitteluhattu päästi minut tällä kertaa Luihuiseen, ja nyt oon ihan onnessani keitellyt taikajuomia ja kaksintaistellut ja muuta kivaa. :D

Pottermore. Only now I have really got excited about Pottermore. I did join it already in April, but I ended up in Raavenclaw, and though it was the second best option, I didn't feel enthusiastic about collecting point to a house that felt a bit strange. A few days ago I made a new account, and, odd enough, the Sorting Hat did let me in Slytherin this time, and so I've been happily brewing potions and having duels and other stuff. :D

Halloween. Vielä kuukausi aikaa lempparijuhlaani! Yritän kuumeisesti miettiä asuja itselleni. Miulla on näillä näkymin kolmet Halloween-bileet samalla viikolla. Yhdet on Potter-aiheiset, joihin on jo Luihuis-varustus omasta takaa, mutta kahdet muut bileet vielä ovat asuja vailla. Niin ihmeellistä kuin se onkin, miulla ei ole edes mitään varsinaisia ideoita. Yleensä saan inspiraation hyvissä ajoin, mutta nyt ei oo oikein sitä kuulunut.

Halloween. One month till my favourite holiday! I'll have three Halloween parties at the same week. One of them is Potter themed, so I already have Slytherin stuff, but the other too parties need still outfits. I don't even have any good ideas, like I usuallu do. Inspiration hasn't struck me yet.

 

Pimeänpiirto-tatuointi. Okei, oon himoinnut tätä jo ikiajat, mutta nyt himo on taas aika voimakas. Haluaisin samankaltaisen kuin Potter-leffoissa mutta kuitenkin jollain tavalla persoonallisen. Miulla on jonkin verran tatuointirahaa säästössä, mutta sillä ei vielä varmaan kovin pitkälle pötkitä. Ehkä pitäisi ottaa ensi askel ja varata tarkempi suunnitteluaika tatuoijalle.

A Dark Mark tattoo. Okay, I've been craving for this for ages already, but now the crave is pretty strong again. I'd like to have a tattoo similar to the one in Potter movies but it should be somehow be personal also. I have some tattoo savings, but I don't think they're enough. Maybe I should take the first step and make a planning appointment with the tattoo artist.

Industrial rock. Oon aika kausi-ihminen musiikin suhteen. Välillä kuuntelen pelkkää kasarigoottirockia, toisinaan maistuu parhaiten visual kei, ja nyt taas on selvästi industrial rock -kausi. Valitsin ton kuvan siksi, että Nine Inch Nails on oma lempparini kyseisestä genrestä, mutta esimerkiksi nyt viikonloppuna oon kuunnellut eniten KMFDM:ää, ja parhaillaan taustalla pauhaa taas Ministry (jonka jotkut kai luokittelee industrial metaliksi mutta anyway).

Industrial rock. I'm pretty a stage person concerning music. At times I listen to just 80's gothic rock, sometimes visual kei goes down best, and now is clearly an industrial rock stage. I chose the picture because Nine Inc Nails is my favourite of that genre, but for example on this weekend I've been listening mostly KMFDM, and at the moment on the background is playing Ministry (that some people categorize as industrial metal but anyway).
